As the Electronic Priority Document Exchange (PDX) cooperation was agreed upon between KIPO and the SIPO (State Intellectual Property Office of China), it became possible for each applicant in both countries to file a design application in the other country with a priority based on the first country application simply by submitting the information of the application number and filing date of the first country application under the PDX system, effective from July 20, 2018.
