Mr. Myung Shin Kim, the Managing Partner of our firm published his memoirs entitled "Dreaming of a Strong Nation on Intellectual Property, a Half Century of Passion:  Patent Attorney Myung-Shin Kim" and had a publication party at the Korean Patent Attorneys' Hall on November 19, 2022.

The event was held here because Mr. Kim dedicated a lot to establish this building.

This publication party was hosted by the Intellectual Property Forum, which was first formed by Mr. Kim under the Korean National Assembly in 2005, and was supported by the Korean Patent Attorneys Association due to Mr. Kim's dedication to developing the industrial property system, but also the intellectual property system in Korea.

Many distinguished guests were in attendance including, Dr. Sang Jo Jung, President, National Committee on Intellectual Property, Mr. Yong Sun Kim, Vice Commissioner of Korean Intellectual Property Office, Dr. Sang Hee Rhee, Past Congressman and Minister, Dr. Woo Il, Lee, President, Korean Federation of Science and Technology Societies. Dr. Kwang Hyung Lee, President, Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, and many former Commissioners of the Korean Intellectual Property Office.

At the event, the author Mr. Kim, addressed Korea's future facing a digital industry era. He stated, "We need to combine science and technology with culture and art. In order to do so, we must set up a new Korean Intellectual Property Office in which industrial property and copy right matters are treating together".

The event was the biggest celebration party since the establishment of the Korean Patent Attorneys Association's building in September, 2020.
