As the Enforcement Decree of the Korean Patent Act was revised, patent applications regarding technologies of so-called the 4th industrial revolution, such as the Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things were added to the subjects of the accelerated examination.
 
This is a support to enhance the competitiveness of companies in this regard. The revised Enforcement Decree came into effect on April 24, 2018.
